PokladňaWe are performing a complete internal transmission overhaul. This involves a surgical teardown to address the common 10R80 pressure loss issues. We are replacing the clutch packs, updating the CDF drum assembly to the revised design, and installing a new seal kit to restore factory-spec hydraulic integrity.
While Teflon rings work fine for a standard daily driver, we are installing PEEK rings to ensure this is the last time this transmission needs to come apart. It’s essentially 'bulletproofing' the fluid circuits of the shaft.
Upgrading from Teflon (PTFE) to PEEK (Polyether ether ketone) seals is a significant durability play, especially in high-heat or high-pressure automatic transmissions.

We are performing a bushing-to-bearing upgrade (or precision bushing replacement) on the torque converter. By replacing the original cast iron bushing, we provide a superior mount for the turbine wheel. This eliminates internal 'wobble' or run-out, ensuring the turbine stays perfectly centered even under heavy acceleration.

The automatic transmission is a complex assembly that requires precise components to function correctly. The use of high-quality materials and components ensures longevity and reliability.
- Inspection: Radial and lateral run-out check of the engine flexplate.
- Specification: Maximum allowable variance: 0.10 mm.
When the flexplate "wobbles" (runs out) more than 0.10 mm, it creates a "lever effect" on the transmission:
- Pump Failure: The torque converter hub acts like a hammer against the front pump gears.
- Bushing Scoring: Even your upgraded cast iron bushing can't survive the constant side-loading caused by a warped flexplate.
