I was considering the purchase of a 2011 Mercedes GLK 350 with a bad transfer case output shaft, but doing my research I realized that Mercedes didn't offer the replacement part. Some folks on the GLK forum suggested Maktrans, and all the information I could find suggested that was a good option. I bought the car, ordered the part from Maktrans, and installed it in my transfer case (along with rebuilding all the load-supportin g bearings and seals). The transfer case is working fine now, and I couldn't be happier. The output shaft assembly (including a large helical gear, internal U-joint and output shaft) looks like a quality part, and felt "like it should". Or dering and communication was easy, and I got the part in about the same amount of time it took to get all the other parts I needed for my transfer case from the US. Thanks for being there for us Mercedes DIY wrench-twister s! ;-)
